Eva B. Keller

Eva B. Keller, age 79, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, August 6, 2012, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN. Eva Barbara Roehrich was born on January 20, 1933, in Kintyre, ND. She grew up on the family farm and attended school in Kintyre. At a young age, she moved to St. Paul, MN, where she spent a couple of years working at the St. Paul Seminary. It was during that time that she met her future husband, Marvin Keller, while dancing the circle two-step at The Prom in St. Paul. On August 23, 1954, Eva married Marvin Keller in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Kintyre, ND. They made their home on a dairy farm in the Tintah, MN area where together they raised their twelve children. Marvin passed away on October 17, 1988. Eva then worked for a short time at St. Francis Nursing Home in Breckenridge, MN as a CNA before moving to Moorhead in May, 1990 and began working for Bethany Homes in Fargo as a CNA. Eva received numerous CNA awards for her excellent care and compassion. Eva enjoyed gardening, quilting, making baby blankets and most importantly, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by twelve children, Janet Clayton Farmen of Wahpeton, ND, Elaine Paul Dregseth Keller of Fargo, ND, Perry Cathy Keller of Fargo, ND, Gene Carmen Keller of Fargo, ND, Paula Eugene Roach of Bismarck, ND, Chuck Carolyn Keller of New Ulm, MN, Wanda Keller, Fargo, ND, Charlet Ross Reedstrom of Houston, TX, Clarine Marlin Linder of Eagle, CO, Dale Devona Keller of Nashua, MN, Marvita David Busching of Fargo, ND and Adella Barry Gilles of Wahpeton, ND; four siblings, Elizabeth Sowada of St. Paul, MN, Katherine Roehrich of St. Paul, MN, Mike Suenell Roehrich of Modesto, CA and Joanne Paul Chmielewski of Crossville, TN; seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rochus and Barbara Roehrich; her husband, Marvin Keller; siblings, Rosalia, Nick, Anton, Fr. Andrew, Sr. Armella, Pius, Leo and Rochus Roehrich and grandson, Christopher Keller.
