Evelyn Mae Lidenberg

Evelyn Mae Lidenberg, 87, Moorhead, formerly Dilworth, MN, died on Saturday, December 12, 2015, in Lilac Homes, Moorhead.
Evelyn Doyea was born on January 17, 1928, near Plummer, MN, to Paul and Belle Olson Doyea. She grew up and attended school there, graduating from high school at Plummer. She moved to Fargo, ND, and attended Dakota Business College and then went to work for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. Evelyn married Willard “Bill” Lidenberg on February 11, 1954, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead. They lived in Dilworth for most of their life. She worked at the Dilworth K Mart during the 1980’s. She was an active member of Dilworth Lutheran Church where she taught Bible and Sunday school. She loved to cook and can, and in her free time could be found in her garden. She loved dancing from a young age and she and Bill enjoyed travelling. Bill died on January 20, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Gordon Lidenberg, Eagen, MN, William Sheryl Lidenberg, West Fargo, ND, and David Corrine Lidenberg, Diworth, MN; daughters Marie Jerry Olsen, Ham Lake, MN, Judy Lidenberg, Eagen, MN, and Carol Nick Goldberger, Longmount, CO; step-daughters Karen Don Thorkildson, Minneapolis, MN, and Jackie Bill Taylor, Salem, OR; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard.
Visitation: Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
Funeral: Friday, December 18, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation one hour before in Dilworth Lutheran Church, Dilworth, MN.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
