Evelyn O. Davidson, 88, Moorhead, MN, died on Thursday, February 21, 2019 under the care of the Palliative Unit at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Evelyn was born on September 28, 1930, in Gatzke, MN to Ole and Eli Aune. She grew up on the family farm near Gatzke, MN and graduated from Middle River High School.

She married LeRoy Davidson on August 5, 1950 at Thief River Falls, MN.

She worked as a Financial Service Representative for Gate City Federal Savings Bank in Fargo, ND for 19 years, retiring in 1993.

Evelyn was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead since the early sixties.

She was cherished by her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Evelyn loved to serve her family and friends.  She was famous for her chocolate chip cookies and she loved hosting Christmas for her family every year at her home in Moorhead.  She was so generous and kind and had a gift of knowing how to find the perfect gift for each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on their birthdays.  She enjoyed traveling to the many car shows that LeRoy and Evelyn attended over the years.  She had a great sense of humor and loved sharing a joke with her sister Emma in the weekly letters that they would write to each other for over 65 years.   Evelyn and LeRoy loved to dance and were the perfect dance partners.   We are so happy that they are reunited now and together in heaven.

Evelyn is survived by her sons Michael (Nancy), Fargo, ND, and Mark (Debbie), Atlanta, GA; daughters Lenay (Dave) Anderson, Moorhead, MN, and Diane (Steve) Zwinger, Carrington, ND; ten grandchildren, Erica (Eric), Lee, Kristen (Matt), Joshua (Lisa), Marissa (Adam), Jenn (Cameron), Christine (Reid), Brooke (Duane), Jacqueline, and Allison (Luke); thirteen great-grandchildren Ava, Elyn, Olivia, Iris, Noah, Aaron, Hugo, Gus, Emma, Parker, Briggs, Camden, Ella; and her sister Emma.

She was preceded in death her husband LeRoy; her parents Ole and Eli Aune; brother Peter; sisters Ragna and Petra; grandson Dylan Zwinger; and infant son, Gary.

Visitation: Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 6:30 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour before, in Bethesda Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
