Evon A. Eastman

Evon Amy Eastman, 42, of Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, in St. Anthony Regional Hospital, Coon Rapids, IA.

Evon Amy Eastman was born on November 20, 1971, in Spearfish, SD, to Wayne D. Eastman, Sr. and Jewel Zephier. Evon was a passionate writer who loved to do crosswords, word finds, number puzzles and write poetry. She enjoyed playing Bingo and many sports.

Evon was a friend to everyone and loved being with her family. She always had a positive outlook on life, always giving to others and always lending a helping hand. Evon was a free spirit and also had a strong faith in God. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Evon is survived by her mother, Jewel Zephier; daughters, Jarreah Jon Thompson and Jakkayl Eastman; sons, Dammon and Dassiah Boyer; brother, Wayne Mona Eastman; sisters, Charleen Eastman, Darlene Fox, Laryssa Joseph Thompson, Sherry Louie Johnson, Tammy Daryl Decoteau, and Nadine Eastman; and grandchildren, Jaydon, Jayce, Elias and one on the way. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Evon was preceded in death by her father, Wayne; grandmother, Victoria Zephier; uncle, Bill Zephier; and aunt, Antoinette “Sissy” Zephier-Wince.

Evening Wake Service: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Fargo, ND.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND, with visitation from noon – 1:00 p.m.

Interment: Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead, MN.
