Faye Ann Robley

Faye Ann Robley, 56, Fargo, ND, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in her home in Fargo.

Faye was born on August 15, 1956, in Pelican Rapids, MN, to Douglas and Mildred Haugrud Robley. She grew up and attended school in Hawley, MN, graduating from Hawley High School in 1974.

She graduated from Moorhead Tech School and then went to work for the Fargo Country Club, eventually working her way up to office manager, a job she held at the time of her death.

Faye was involved in Skree 4H and Gran Luther League. She especially loved riding her horses, spending many hours in the summer riding with the “Bergan” granddaughters. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and being outdoors.

She was compassionate and caring towards her many friends, always willing to help prepare meals for weekend and holiday get togethers. They were her other “family”.

Faye was a regular volunteer for the American Diabetes Assoc. Step Out Walk. She loved NASCAR and horse races, shopping and Gummi Bears!

Faye is survived by her mother, Mildred Robley, Hawley, MN; brothers Phil Mona Robley, Moorhead, MN, and Steve Toni Robley, Humansville, MO; sister, Karen Dwight Aakre, Hawley, MN; nieces and nephews, Shane Robley and Shawn Robley of Mt. Vernon, WA, Tresa Tony Ahrns of Arlington, WA, Kristen Darin Edeen of Dilworth, MN, Stephanie Rick Nelson of Hawley, MN, Matthew Ranae Aakre of Glyndon, MN, Benjamin Rachel Aakre of Hawley, MN, and Allison Aakre of Fargo, ND; great nieces and nephews, Thaddeus Robley, Jamie and Izig Robley of Mt. Vernon, WA, Shayla and Summer Ahrns of Arlington, WA, Ethan, Bennett and Aiden Edeen of Dilworth, Bree and Brylie Nelson of Hawley, Jenna and Gavin Aakre of Glyndon, and Samuel, Jacob and William Aakre of Hawley.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Douglas Robley; stillborn sister, Lois; stillborn niece, Tina Robley; and great-nephew Hayden Nelson.
