Faye Jean Garrett, 93, of Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN. Faye was born on April 5, 1922, in Fertile, MN, to Carl and Mamie West. She grew up in Fertile, MN, where she graduated high school. Faye worked in the fabric department of Mac’s Hardware. She then worked as a manager of the hospitality shop in St. Luke’s Hospital until her retirement at age 68. After retirement, Faye enjoyed traveling the world.

Faye is survived by her brother, Clayton West Arlene; sons, C. David Gilbertson Judi, Mark Gilbertson Demitra, and Daniel Gilbertson Viola Hansen; daughters, Sharon Kenny Norm, Renee Richards Burney; grandchildren, Amanda Murtin Daniel, Joshua Gilbertson, Mark Hadrava Reuchelle, Ann Boisjolie Craig, John Richards Joanne, Stacy Waibel Wayne, Scott Gilbertson Rose, and Tisha Coen Randy; great-grandchildren, Heather, Haley, and David Boisjolie, Loren and Jake Richards, Caylin and Lucas Coen; plus nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mamie West, father of the children, Clark Gilbertson, sister, Wahnita West and grandson, Timothy Hadrava.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 15, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Rev. David Suelzle will be officiating the service.
