Florence E. Allen

Florence E. Allen, 75, Fargo, ND, died on Sunday, January 21, 2018, in Sanford Health Palliative Care.

Florence Ehrmann was born on December 14, 1942, in Linton, ND, to Elmer and Odella (Mueller) Ehrmann. She grew up and attended school there and then moved to Billings, MT, where she lived for thirteen years. She moved to Bismarck, ND, and worked as a CNA in nursing homes and also obtained her college degree thru Wahpeton State School of Science. In 1994 she moved to Fargo where she worked at MeritCare and then Valley Rental until retiring in 2013.

Florence loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Their fondest memories of her are her size ten shoe and her wooden spoon.

Florence is survived by her children, Kim (Rick) Fox, Fargo, ND, Dawn (Mike) Hoherz, Moorhead, MN, William (Lois) VanEpps, Jamestown, ND, and Tina (Wade) Doty, Alexandria, MN; sister Helen (Alan) Trautman, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren Lee Hoherz, Karissa Hoherz, Brandee Moran, Cassie VanEpps, Amber VanEpps, Peyton Doty, Billy VanEpps, Jr., and Joshua VanEpps; great-grandchildren Charlye, Nevaeh, Beau, Shayla, Gabriel, Brooklyn, Alexandra, Jayden and Jason Jr.; and her beloved dog Otis.

Memorial service: Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead. Friends may gather for one hour prior to the service.
