Florence E. Wilson

Florence “Dolly” Wilson, 97, died Friday, September 9, 2016, in Eventide Senior Living, Moorhead, MN. Florence was born January 30, 1919, in Grand Forks, ND, to Robert and Tillie Amberry. She grew up in Grand Forks, attended and graduated from Grand Fords Central.

Florence married Ole Solem and together they made their home in East Grand Forks, MN, where they raised three children. in 1962, they moved to Reno, NV. Ole died in 1985. Florence later married Wes Wilson in 1994. In 2001, Dolly moved to Moorhead, MN, to be near family, where she lived at Eventide Senior Living for 15 years.

Florence is survived by her three children, Jeanette Frank DeBrito of Moorhead, MN, Harold Barbara Solem of Long Beach, CA, Glen Eleanor Solem of Bismarck, ND; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchilden; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Dr. Thomas Amberry of Seal Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death her parents and sister, Helen Amberry Solee.

Visitation will be Friday, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M., at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
