Florence G. Alm

Florence was born November 3, 1911 in Scribner, Nebraska. She lived there until she was about the age of 6. The family then moved to Minnesota. They first moved to the Ulen area and then to Lake Park where they lived for some time before moving to Hawley. She met her husband Albert there and they married January 23th of 1932. They were married 28 years when Albert passed away in 1960. Florence worked at Riverside Inn, Hawley Locker Plant, the Hawley Manor, Wahl Drug and at CashWise Foods in Dilworth. Florence still remained a faithful member of the community. She is survived by her children, Angie Harold Sandvik, Albertville, MN, Lloyd JaniceAlm, Hawley, MN; daughter-in-law, Darlene Alm, Hawley, MN; grandchildren; Rick Patti Sandvik, Renee Eric Degelau, Lynn Alm, Lisa Chuck Plaziak, Gail Fields, Tom Dana Anderson, Lee Brandi Alm, Kari Chad Conner, and Londa Alm; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; son, James; one sister, Ethel Rosman; five brothers, John, George, Dan, William & Donald.
