Frederick George Hoyes

Frederick George Hoyes of Lake Park, Minnesota, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on September 4^th 2021.  His wife of 38 years to the day was by his side as he passed peacefully.

Fred retired from the Air Force after 24 years of dedicated service.  He had a distinguished career of which he was very proud, serving as a 1^st Sergeant for many years.  He also was proud of serving for the Presidential Wing.

Fred was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 26, 1946.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lacey Wren Hoyes; his brother, Randy Gene Hoyes; father, William Earl Hoyes Sr, and mother, Martha Jean Richey.

He leaves behind his wife, Megan Elaine Hoyes; his daughter, Shelli Marie Hoyes; brother, William Earl Hoyes Jr; aunt, Sally Heart; cousin, Jay Blankenship; parents-in-law, Nan and Hans Heinrich; brother and sister-in-law, Jon Heinrich and Jane Evert.

Of all the wonderful qualities Fred possessed, his ability to make us laugh every day was his most endearing.

At Fred’s request, no services will be held.  Memorials may be made to Ethos Hospice.
