Gale C. Stenerson

Gale Clarke Stenerson, 78, of Moorhead, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Eventide Nursing Home in Moorhead MN.Gale was born to Ingemund and Emily Ostby Stenerson in Fargo, ND on April 4, 1926. Gale grew up and attended school in Moorhead, MN, graduating from Moorhead High School in1944. After Gale graduated from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy from June 1944 to August 1946. He then went to Concordia College for two years, after that Gale began working at Stenerson Lumber in Moorhead. Gale was the President of the N.W. Lumberman's Association, Rotary Club President, he was on many boards, including, the board at Meritcare, American Bank, and Eventide. He was also a past councilmember at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN.Gale is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Beth Stenerson, Moorhead, MN; three sons, Michael Stenerson, Fargo, ND, Patrick Sue Sinkler Stenerson, Minnetonka, MN, and Kurt Stenerson, Moorhead, MN; and one brother, Jim Christine Stenerson, Moorhead, MN.Gale is preceded in death by his parents.
