Gary L. Knutson

Gary L. Knutson, 53, Felton, MN, died on Thursday, December 30, 2004, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Gary L. Knutson was born on March 12, 1951, in Fargo, ND, to Ralph and Jeannette Kuehl Knutson. He grew up in Felton, MN, and attended school in Glyndon, graduating from Glyndon-Felton High School.He married Carol Thompson on July 7, 1973, in Felton, MN, and they were later divorced. He married Ann Thomasson on January 16, 1981, in Ada, MN, and they were later divorced. He farmed near Felton, and co-owned and operated an agricultural spraying business. He also drove a snowplow for Clay County as a winter job. Gary served on the City Council in Felton, MN; the Felton Community Club Board and the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Council in Felton.Gary is survived by his mother, Jeanette Knutson, Moorhead, MN; three sons, John Sarah, Felton, MN, James Holly, Fargo, ND; one daughter, Karen Knutson, Moorhead, MN; one step-son, Joe Wendi Thomasson, Glyndon, MN; one sister, Noreen Knutson, Moorhead, MN; eight grandchildren, Hailey, Kaleb, Garrett, Judy, Samantha, Andrew, Adrian and Morgan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Sadie Knutson, and Johnnie and Francies Kuehl; his father, Ralph Knutson; aunts and uncles, Sylvia Kuehl, Vernus and Ione Kuehl, and Alfred Knutson, along with several other aunts and uncles; and a cousin, Chuck Ford.
