Gary L. Rector

Gary L. Rector, 78, of Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND. Gary was born in Minneapolis, MN, on June 4, 1941, to Jack and Ruth (Sauber) Rector. He grew up and attended school in Lino Lakes, MN. After graduating from high school, Gary lived in various states before returning to the area. In 1986, Gary married Mary Sigsworth in St. Paul, MN. Over the years, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, took pride in his cars and loved playing guitar whenever he had the chance.

Gary is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Shawn Rector, Jason (Jennifer) Rector, Jeff Sigsworth, Shannon Rector and Josh (Krista) Rector; 12 grandchildren; and his brother, Jon (Julie) Rector.

A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, January 8, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
