Gary M. Miller

Gary M. Miller, age 53, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, January 1, 2010, at his home, Fargo, ND.Gary Merlin Miller was born on October 26, 1956 to Merlin "Smokey" and Dorothy Erbstoesser Miller in Moorhead, MN. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating from Moorhead High School in 1974. On August 12, 1978 he married Rita Silbernagel in Moorhead. Together they had two children, Nichole and Heather Jo.Gary found enjoyment being outdoors hunting and fishing, especially fishing on Cotton Lake. He found his solitude spending time on the lake. He was a man who would continuously go above and beyond to help anyone who was in need. Gary was a well-liked man who always wore a smile and was the perfect grandfather. He will be missed dearly by those who knew him.He is survived by his wife, Rita Miller of Fargo, ND; two daughters, Nichole Miller of Fargo, ND and Heather Jo Miller of Moorhead, MN; grandchild, Parnell Jamison; mother, Dorothy Miller of Moorhead, MN, one sister, Faye Miller of Fordville, ND, two brothers, Lee Miller and Matt Sheree Miller, both of Moorhead, MN; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Merlin "Smokey" Miller.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
