Gary Rogholt

Gary Rogholt, 75, of Moorhead, MN, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Sanford Health Medical Center in Fargo.

Gary was born August 23, 1942 in Fergus Falls, MN to Lloyd and Alice (Cookman) Rogholt and was raised on the family farm.  He attended a one room country school in District 16 and graduated from Pelican Rapids high school in 1960.  After graduation he attended Humbolt Institute and went to work for Ozark Airlines in Minneapolis and Fort Dodge, Iowa.

He moved to Fargo-Moorhead and married Geraldine (Geri) Olds in Barnesville, MN on October 20, 1962.  He went to work at Wheel Service Co. and Fruehauf Trailer Sales in 1974.  In 1977 he began working for Johnsen Trailer Sales where he remained until retiring in July of 2007.  He was active in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed being on the church softball and bowling team.

Gary is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Geri); three children, Kathryn Rogholt (Heather Rittenhouse), Michael Rogholt (Estela), Karen Wilson; five grandchildren, Marquise Carr (Jaylyn), Jawsin Rittenhouse, Jillian Rittenhouse, Marisa Rogholt, Isaiah Wilson and one special great-grandchild, Marquise Jr.  He also leaves brothers Wayne (Geraldine), Dale (Judy), sister-in-law Marilyn, and multiple nieces and nephews.  Gary was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Leroy.
