Gaylord Loftis

Gaylord Loftis, 65, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, May 4, 2020, at Sanford Health Medical Center in Fargo.

Gaylord Enoch Loftis was born January 10, 1955 in Fargo, ND to Francis and Doris (Halvorson) Loftis.  He grew up in the Fargo-Moorhead area and graduated from Moorhead High School.  Throughout his life he held various jobs mainly in the construction trades.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, reading and doing crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his two sons Jesse Cusey and Garrett Loftis, both of Fargo-Moorhead; his sister Elizabeth Trostad, of Moorhead; his brother Jerry Loftis, of Moorhead; his brother-in-law Paul Sheridan, of Hitterdal, MN; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant son Patrick; his sisters Dollie, Laura and MaryAnn; an infant brother; his brother Patrick and his half-brother Michael.

A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead.
