Genet Price was born on March 03, 1946 to the union of the late David L. Price Sr. and S. E. Price. To this union 11 children were born. Genet was preceded in death by her sisters Willie Dean Watson-Davis, Norene Williams, and Sara Wilson. Genet received her formal education at McCullough High school- Monticello, MS, and proceeded further onto Wilbur Wright College. She worked for the Department of Public Aid for 37 years, until her long awaited retirement. She devoted much time and dedication to Ministry while volunteering at First Assembly Church. Genet received her reward of eternity on June 14, 2009. Genet will be greatly missed by friends and those who became her extended family in North Dakota.Genet will be deeply cherished by her children Cedric Patty, Tracy Angie and Marcus Ruby. Genet was the seventh child of eleven: Willie Dean Watson, Harriet Elizabeth Tommie Collins, Anne Collins Oscar, Norene Williams – Robert, Joe Price, and Sarah Wilson-Roosevelt Wilson, David L. Price Wilma, J. J. Price, Donnie Price and Evelyn Martin. Genet will be fondly remembered by her loving grandchildren: David Price, Travelle Robinson, Michael Dixon, Jazzica Price, Cedric L. Price Jr. Beth, Nate, and Aaron Price. Genet had two special daughters: Vanessa Collins, Mary Price, and Katherine Robinson, Aunt- Flora Smith Chicago, Aunt- Edgie May Brown Monticello, Ms, Wilma Sutton, Uncleâ Woodrow Price Oakland Ca.¸God-daughter- Chanel Hoffman and a host of relatives.
