Geneva L. Bennett

Geneva L. Bennett, 88, of Lake Park, MN, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Hawley Senior Living, Hawley, MN. Geneva was born February 12, 1934, to Oscar and Anna (Ness) Braseth. She grew up in Lake Park, MN, where she graduated from high school. She met and married Gordon Bennett on August 3, 1952. Together they made their home in an apartment in downtown Minneapolis. Geneva and Gordon lived in Fridley, MN for 35 years and later moved to Lake Park.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Geneva is survived by her son, Gary (Kathy); granddaughters, Kristina (Brad) Fann, Jessica (Steve) Guillotel; great-grandchildren, Liam and Judah Fann, Ellise and Coralynn Guillotel; and sisters, Alvida, Carol and Rachel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; parents, Ocsar and Anna; brothers, Everett, Kenneth, Benneth, and Donald; and sisters, Elda, Barbara and Ramona.

Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 9, at 11:00 a.m., with memorial gathering one hour prior to the service in Park Lutheran Church, rural Hawley, MN.
