Georgia Eichmann

Georgia M. Eichmann, 82, of Hawley, MN, died November 17, 2017, at Hawley Senior Living.

Georgia May Kvilvang was born March 17, 1935, in Audubon, MN, to Peter and Leola (Day) Kvilvang.  She grew up and attended school in Audubon and Hawley.  On February 24, 1958 she was united in marriage to Louis Eichmann.  They lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for a while, moved to Williston, ND in 1980 and then back to the Detroit Lakes, MN area in 2001.  Together they raised eight children, Bruce, Brett, Brad, Bonnie, Barbara, Brenda, Becky and Betty.  Georgia’s fulltime job was staying home to take care of her children.

She is survived by her children; her sisters, Eileen Dean, Delores Moe, Mavis Hettenbaugh and Betty Daley, and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis.

Family services will be held at a later date.
