Gerald Hesby

Gerald E. Hesby passed away May 7^th at Bethany on University in Fargo, ND.

Gerald was born July 21, 1938 in Halstad, MN to Everett and Genevieve (Norum) Hesby.  He grew up on the family farm, was active in 4H and any sport he could play.  After graduation in 1956 he enlisted in the Navy.  He was trained as a medic and served on base hospitals in Japan and San Diego.  After discharge he attended Mayville State College.  Gerald moved to Moorhead and met and married Susan Seaburg in 1964.  He was employed at Fairmont Foods, which later became Cass Clay Creamery, as a driver, retiring in 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Cindy (Darin) Millar; granddaughter, Kyza Millar, and sister, Bev (Marlyn) Aanenson.  Gerald was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother, Francis.

A private graveside service will be held at Moorhead Memorial Gardens.
