Gertrude H. Hanson

Gertrude was born in Ashton, IL, on October 31, 1909 to Lincoln and Sarah Bradford. She moved with the family to Breckenridge, MN, in 1911. On December 24, 1934, she married Meriel Hanson in Moorhead. They farmed near Felton, MN, for a number of years before moving to Moorhead. Meriel passed away in August of 1952.She is survived by one son, Hilmen Alta of Rapid City, SD; five daughters, Sylvia Lyle Oien of Park Rapids, MN, Donna Asleson of West St. Paul, MN, LaRane Orville Krueger of Glencoe, MN, Genene Bob Pechacek of Moorhead, MN, and Phyllis Weigand of Walcott, IA; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers; six sisters; and two son-in-laws.
