Gladys A. Eidem

Gladys was born September 1, 1919, to Andrew and Anna Olson in Sisseton, SD. She was baptized and confirmed in Scandia Lutheran Church in Sisseton. She attended school near Sisseton and graduated from High School in New Effington, SD. On May 26, 1939, she married John Eidem in New Effington. Together they had three children, Gene, Joyce and Gary. They farmed near Georgetown, MN, until 1967, when they moved to Moorhead, MN. Gladys worked at Fargo Laundry for 12 years and then at American Linen for 12 years. She is survived by her son, Gene Linda of Moorhead, MN; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Arnold Olson of Ada, MN, Robert Pam Olson of Ada, MN, and Gordon Elsie Olson of Moorhead, MN.Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Joyce; son, Gary; parents, Andrew and Anna; 2 brothers, Alvin Olson and Kenneth Olson; and 2 sisters, Lila Kelly and Vivian Nelson.
