Gladys L. Samuelson

Gladys Samuelson, 91, Lake Park, MN died Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Sunnyside Nursing Home.Gladys L. Oftelie was born August 19, 1913 in Lake Park to Gullick and Liv Thompson Oftelie, where she grew up and attended school. On October 12, 1935, she was united in marriage to Albert Samuelson at the parsonage in Lake Park. They farmed south of Lake Park for several years. They moved to Hawley in 1989 and Gladys moved to Sunnyside Nursing Home in March, 2005. Albert died in July of 1994. She is survived by three children; Carol Danny Erickson, Lake Park, Albert Sue Samuelson, Minnetonka, MN, LaVaun Greg Sahlberg, West Fargo, ND; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was the last living member of the two families. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; daughters, Hjordis and JoAnne; and all nine of her brothers and sisters; ten brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
