Gloria A. Boyle

Gloria Boyle, 77, Detroit Lakes, MN, died on Sunday, November 6, 2005, in Emmanuel Nursing Home, Detroit Lakes, MN.Gloria Moon was born on July 22, 1928, at Ada, MN, to Dale and Freida Beulah Moon. She grew up and attended school in Ada, graduating from Ada High School. Gloria married Delbert "Jack" Boyle on November 23, 1947, in Ada, MN. They lived at Felton, MN, and then lived in various places in the upper Midwest as Jack worked in road-building. They moved to Dilworth, MN, in 1959 and then to Moorhead in 1975. Gloria went to work for the Minnesota Unemployment Service in 1971 and then, in 1979, the library at Moorhead State College, where she retired from in 1992. She and Jack moved to Tamarac Lake, MN, in 1994 and in 2000, to Detroit Lakes, MN. They spent twelve winters together in Mesa, AZ.Gloria was very creative, and liked crafts and handwork. She loved taking pictures, and was always interested in others photos. She loved kids and kids loved her.Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Margo Ann, who died October 9, 1965; one sister and two brothers.She is survived by her husband, Delbert "Jack" Boyle, Detroit Lakes, MN; a sister, Marvel Ernie Ommas, Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.
