Gloria Edith Vaughn Larson

Gloria Edith Vaughn Larson passed away on November 7^th, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Gloria was born to Arthur “Art” and Gena (Baardsgaard) Manke on January 9^th, 1943, in St. Paul, MN. She continued to live there until her move to Detroit Lakes, MN, with her 3 children in 1983.

She had a strong faith, giving thanks to God for guiding her through her life. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Gloria is survived by her children, Laura Sauck, James (Kimberly) Vaughn, and Rex Vaughn, all of Detroit Lakes, MN; sister, Pat (Gary) Ledman, Cottage Grove, MN; sister-in-law, Elaine Manke, Coon Rapids, MN; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many friends and others who knew her as Mom, Grandma, and GG. She is preceded in death by her parents, Art and Gena; and brother, Charles “Chuck” Arthur.

A celebration of life will be held at Christian Fellowship Church, Detroit Lakes, MN, on Saturday, December 4^th, 2021, at 11:00 A.M.
