Gloria Rios Ramirez

Gloria Rios Ramirez, 78, of Moorhead, MN, died January 17, 2023, at Sanford Health Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

She is survived by her children: Manuel (Carlene) Ramirez, Holland, MI, Cristela (Juan Casarez) Ramirez, Moorhead, Jose Angel Ramirez, Holland, MI and Rosario Ramirez, TX; siblings, Clemente Rios, Genovava Gonzalez, Rosalinda Rios and Dora Avila; grandchildren, Juan Ramirez, Jaime Gomez Jr., Adriana Marie Gomez, Christopher Casarez, Christopher Jeremy Lee Gomez, Bianca Nicole Gomez, Joseph James Gomez, Ilianna Gabrielle Gomez, Nathania Christianna Gomez, Irene Elizabeth Gomez; great-grandchildren, Timoteo Santos Elias Gomez, Albert Gomez, Amora Maxine Casarez, Emmanuel Kingston Gomez, Elijah Gomez, Ray Gomez, Eli Gomez and Katalina Mirena Gomez; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Margarita (Rodriguez) Rios; her husband, Manuel Ramirez Sr; siblings, Florinda Rios and Gregorio Rios Jr; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Greig and nephew, Gonzalo Rios Jr.

Gloria will be remembered as a strong woman of deep faith.  She loved her family deeply and taught them to always keep God first in their lives and begin each day with Him. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was always there for her family when they needed her.  She loved God with all her heart and wanted all her children to be serving Him.  Gloria wanted the best for everyone in her life and she was always offering encouragement.  Conversations with her would often end with the reminder: “Everything is possible with God.”

Gloria will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.  May God bless the memory of Gloria Rios Ramirez.

Gloria’s life will be celebrated with services in Texas in the fall of 2023.  Service details, once finalized, will be posted here on her webpage.

Family and friends will be having a Celebration of Life at Harvest Church Assemblies of God, 1105 12^th St. N. Moorhead, MN, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Flowers for Gloria may be delivered to Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead.
