Gregory C. Bosak, 60, of Moorhead, MN passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018.
Gregory “Greg” Clifford Bosak was born on July 24, 1958 to Clifford and Betty (Swanholm) Bosak in Moorhead, MN. As a child, Greg spent much of his free time fishing and enjoying lake Lizzie with his parents and siblings. He attended Moorhead High School and went on to receive his Associates Degree in construction electricity from Northwest Technical College in Moorhead.
On September 11, 1981 Greg married the love of his life, Angela Swartz, in Moorhead, and together they raised three sons; Jesse, Curtis and Monte. Greg loved to ski, hunt, fish and read the Bible. All of these passions were passed to his sons. As a family they enjoyed many ski trips. Traveling to different resorts throughout his life with his family was one of his favorite things to do. Greg was a devoted and loving husband and father.
Greg was also a member of King Deer Inc. where he enjoyed hunting deer and birds, spending time with family and friends, telling stories around the campfire (he was an eloquent storyteller), walking or four-wheeling through the woods, blazing new trails, using his chainsaw and just enjoying the Northwoods of Minnesota. Greg also loved traveling to Lake of the Woods ice fishing, as well as trips to be with his sons in Alaska and fishing the oceans and rivers there. Greg’s family still shares a lake home on Rush Lake with his parents and brothers, Steve and Doug and their families.
Greg was a successful businessman and electrical contractor. He was co-owner of CB and Sons Electric in Moorhead along with his brothers for over 30 years. He also had great skill and enthusiasm for home remodeling projects.
He was a man of great character and faith. He was kind, patient, generous, gentile and eager to be of help to anyone. He loved to teach. He always had time to listen, and never made you feel unimportant, or rushed to finish a conversation. He was genuine in his actions. He enjoyed children immensely, all of this, resulting in being a father figure and roll model for children outside his family. He loved being a grandpa. Greg had a great sense of humor and was the instigator of many jokes and pranks. He held on to strong beliefs and morals and was a man of faith and great conviction.
Greg is survived by his wife, Angie; son, Jesse (Meagan) Bosak and their son Briggs; son, Curtis Bosak (Sarah Marrinan); son, Monte (Jodi) Bosak and their children Jasper and Jenna Komes; his parents, Clifford and Betty; siblings, Sherie (John Mischke) Bosak, Steve (Kim) Bosak, Jeff (Cindy) Bosak, Doug (Michelle) Bosak; Angie’s parents, Leonard and Shirley Swartz; Angie’s brother, Delano (Tammy) Swartz; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Jenna, Danielle, Kelly, James, Casey, Cole and Karina Bosak, Sonja Bosak Mischke, Tyden and Krissy (Henry) Ohnstad and Tony (Sara) Swartz; great-nephews, Hunter and Colten.
