Gregory G. Trostad

Gregory G. Trostad, 59, lost his battle to cancer on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in his home in Moorhead surrounded by his loving family, and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Gregory Gale Trostad was born on January 25, 1954 in Duluth, MN, to Alden and MaryLou Gude Trostad. He grew up in MN, SD and IL. Greg enjoyed working for Gateway Building Systems in West Fargo. He loved spending time with his family, fishing and target shooting.

Greg is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty”; one daughter, Jade Chris and two sons, Nathaniel Crystal and Michael Crystal, all of Moorhead; five grandchildren, James, Hunter, Natalie, Jalin and Mason, all of them were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff Susan Trostad, GA and two sisters, Linda Ed Aquilino, NJ and Robin JimTrostad-Murray, TX; and many nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jesse, Meagan, Ryan, Alonna, Tracy, Stacy, Marty, Sara, Joy, Garrett, Cheskae.

May Greg’s beautiful soul rest in peace. Greg’s family thanks God for the precious time they were given with him.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
