Gregory Russell "Rudy" Rudolph

Gregory Russell “Rudy” Rudolph, 64, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Sanford Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Rudy was born on January 27, 1959, to Russell and Adelle (Anderson) Rudolph in Fargo, ND, where he grew up. He attended and graduated from Fargo North High School where he excelled in sports and was a standout hockey player. He continued playing hockey for Hibbing Jr. College for a short time after high school. He worked as a carpenter doing construction in Fargo for a majority of his life. He was united in marriage to Teresa Hangaard on May 25, 1990, and together they raised two children, Cassy and Miranda.

Rudy enjoyed playing fastpitch softball in his younger years. He also loved spending time with his family and friends at West McDonald Lake and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Rudy is survived by his two daughters, Cassy Rudolph and Miranda Rudolph; brothers, Steven Rudolph and James Rudolph; niece, Allison Rudolph; nephew, Jack Rudolph; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Adelle; sister, Kate Rudolph; and niece, Abby Rudolph.

Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
