Harlen L. Thompson

Harlen L. Thompson, Jr., 41, of Moorhead, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2005, in his Dilworth home.Harlen was born March 22, 1963 in Moorhead to Alma and Harlen Thompson, Sr. As a child Harlen traveled often and lived many places, and graduated from high school in Sherwood, ND. He later obtained certification as a medical assistant from Interstate Business College in Fargo.Harlen spent most of his adult life as a caregiver, working for CCRI and Easter Seals.He married Connie Heiberg September 14, 2001 in Moorhead, and the two of them made their home in Dilworth with Connie's children.Harlen was a kind spirited soul with a comedic outlook on life. Those who knew him best will miss his quick humor and uncanny impersonations.He is survived by his wife, Connie, his stepsons; Nathan, Lucis and Cole Heiberg, Dilworth, MN; sister Lou "Sissy" Shaw Tommie, Moorhead; and brother Glen Sandy Adamson, Elizabeth, IL.He was preceded in death by his father in 1987, and mother in 1989.
