Harold M. Ingebretsen

Harold was born May 27, 1922, on the family farm in, Clay County, Minnesota, to Ole and Susanna Carlson Ingebretsen. He attended school at Averill, Dist. 22, east of Morken Township, and Felton. Harold married Virginia Garcia on October 20, 1963. Together they farmed and raised their family.Harold farmed nearly all his life and took pride in his work. He enjoyed carpentry and used his skills at home and on the farm. He was a wonderful husband and father and supported his children and grandchildren in all they did. He will be dearly missed. Harold is survived by his wife, Virginia; children, Linda Ingebretsen of Grand Island, NE, Martin Sheri Ingebretsen of Grand Island, NE, Rachel Jerry Maier of Moorhead; grandchildren, Amber Ingebretsen of Vista, CA, Eric Ingebretsen of Grand Island, NE, Nolan and Riley Maier of Moorhead; and sister-in-law, Gladys Ingebretsen of Moorhead; as well as nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by grandsons, Ryan Ingebretsen and Jared Maier; parents, Ole and Susanna; brothers, Earl, Allen and Oliver Ingebretsen; and sister-in-law, Betty Ingebretsen. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, ND.
