Harold W. Patchin

Harold Wallace Patchin, 55, Fargo, ND, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.Harold was born on April 11, 1956, in Fairmont, MN, on April 11, 1956, to Harold P. and Margaret I. Holter Patchin. He grew up and attended school in Fairmont, graduating from Fairmont High School in 1974. He graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, with two degrees and then spent ten years working construction and property management in the Sioux Falls area. He attended Black Hills State College in Spearfish, SD, and then the University of North Dakota, where he graduated with degrees in Airport Administration and Business Aviation. He moved to Fargo, ND, where he has lived since. He managed the affairs of the family farm in Buffalo, ND. He was involved in the Civil Air Patrol, the Lake Agassiz Rock Club, and was an avid Ham Radio Operator.Harold is survived by his life-long companion, Emily Elliot, Moorhead; sisters, Carol Doug Dreke, Brandon, SD, and Harriet Bill Parks, Burton, TX; aunt, Adelheide Holter, Buffalo, ND, and Sun City, AZ; niece, Elizabeth Chris Anker, Hanford, CA; nephew, Matthew Amy Dreke and their daughters, Addisyn and Lauryn, Sioux Falls, SD, niece, Amy Jarrod Larsen and their son Jackson, Sioux Falls, SD, Tyler Parks, Burton, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
