Harrietta was born December 18, 1913, in Richland County, North Dakota, to Robert and Mary Hermes Boelke. She attended school, graduating from St. John's Academy in Wahpeton, N.D. Harrietta married Raymond V. Reinke on September 25, 1934 in Hankinson. Throughout their marriage they resided in several cities in the Midwest. They owned and operated a business in Park Rapids for six years. In 1971, they settled in Hawley, MN, where she was Administrator of the Hawley Manor Retirement Home, retiring in 1990. Raymond died in July of 1978. In June 2002, she moved to Briarwood Senior Living in Perham, MN, and in February 2005, she moved to Perham Memorial Nursing Home. The most important thing in Harrietta's life was her family. She loved to have her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren around her as much as possible. She worked very diligently on the family history for both the Reinke and Hermes families, and always enjoyed family reunions. Her other hobbies included sewing, quilting, and gardening. She took great pride in her beautiful flower gardens. In her later years, her sons, sons-in-law, and grandchildren got her interested in NASCAR racing. Jeff Gordon was her favorite! She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; three sons, Robert, Michael & Paul; four brothers, Elroy Boelke, Cyril Boelke, Dennis Boelke & Gerald Boelke. Harrietta is survived by two sons, Franklin Helen Reinke, Tampa, FL, and Raymond Claudia Reinke, Pensacola, FL; three daughters, Claudette Ostlund, Omaha, NE, Mary Etta Kenny Lowden, Perham, MN, and Veronica Gary Johnson, Hawley, MN; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
