Harry Rosenfeldt, 85, Glyndon, MN, died on Saturday, April 23, 2005, in Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Harry Rosenfeldt was born on December 2, 1919, near Sabin, MN, to Adolph and Amanda Mattson Rosenfeldt. He grew up and attended school there and then began farming near Sabin. Harry married Myrtle L. Langseth on November 21, 1941, in Dennison, MN. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps and served during WWII. He was wounded on Iwo Jima and received the Purple Heart. He returned to the Glyndon, MN, area and worked for Hank Peterson Farms for twenty five years, retiring due to disability. In retirement, Harry enjoyed tending his garden and his lawn and helped his sons on the farm. Myrtle died on October 23, 1989. Harry is survived by four sons, Bill Rosenfeldt, Omaha, NE, Jon Diane Rosenfeldt, Glyndon, MN, Dan Julie Rosenfeldt, Moorhead, MN, Tom Lu Rosenfeldt, Sheffield, IA; two daughters, Patricia Curtis Jones, Truman, MN, and Penni Daryl Osmundson, Ames, IA; one sister, Blanche Young, Morris, MN; 24 grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; a son Kim "Smiley", a sister, Marion Hoppe, and a grandson, Travis.
