Helen Elizabeth Gill

Helen Elizabeth (Stoddart) Gill, 85, of Dilworth, MN, formerly of Felton, MN, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Serenity Assisted Living and Memory Care, Dilworth, MN, surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born on November 30, 1935, to Clifford and Ruby (Perry) Stoddart in Jamestown, MN. She attended and graduated from Moorhead High School. She was united in marriage to James Gill on November 5, 1955, in Anchorage, Alaska. Together, they moved to Felton, MN, where they lived on the family farm for 63 years.

Helen was very active in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church as well as with the Glyndon-Felton Band Club Parents Association. She was an excellent cook and baker and could do both without a recipe. She also enjoyed crafting and sewing. Above all, she loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, James Gill; children, Bob (Linda) Gill and Kathryn (Dan) Sebby; grandchildren, Matthew Gill (Cherry), Katie (Levi) Pender, Ashley (Matthew) Termansen, Garrett Sebby, Jennifer (Jordan) Wear, and Michael Gill; great-grandchildren, Marley and Jenner Pender, Oliver Termansen, Celeste, Bentley, and Hendrix Wear; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ruby; son, Donald Gill; and brothers, Eugene Stoddart and Clifford Stoddart Jr.

A private family graveside service will be held.
