Helen J. Benson

Helen J. Benson, 79, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND. She was born November 24, 1925, to Emil and Pauline Zielke Ritter in Dunn County, ND. After graduating from Dunn Center high school she attended Dakota Business College. She married Arlin Benson on February 3, 1962, and made their home in Fargo, ND. Arlin passed away December 21, 2004.Helen is survived by her children, Charlene Ron Preuss, Keller, TX, Denise Duane Mischel, West Fargo, ND, Cindy David Price, St. Peters, MO, Jim Kim Benson, Monticello, MN, Paul Sheila Benson, Moorhead, MN; one sister, Appalona Torgerson, Auburn, WA, fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many very, very special nieces and nephews.Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Arlin; her parents; six brothers, Christ, Louie, Henry, Edward, Carl and Emil Ritter; and three sisters, Lydia Weber, Ottilia Haugen and Augustina Ochsner.
