Helen L. Rennecke

Helen L. Rennecke, Moorhead, MN, passed away on September 25, 2021, in Farmstead Care Assisted Living, Moorhead, MN.

Helen was born March 24, 1931, in rural Ashby, MN, to Robert and Rachel (Nelson) Elliott. She attended school in Dalton.

Helen moved to Fergus Falls, MN, the summer of 1946. In 1954, Helen moved to Fargo, ND.

On June 4, 1955, Helen married the love of her life, Willis Rennecke of Frazee, MN. Willis and Helen resided in Frazee, MN, until moving to Moorhead in July 1968.

She worked part time in the food services department for public school Dist. 152 from 1968 until 1988.

Helen is survived by her sons, Steven (Margaret), and Scott (Lynn); grandchildren, Cyndle, Maggie, Krista, Trevor; great-grandchildren, Carter, Theodore, Syren, and Nicolae; niece, Tami (Joel); and many close friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Ellen (Jack); brother, Roger; and granddaughter, Danielle.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour before the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Frazee, MN.
