Helen M. Connelly

Helen was born on March 10, 1915 to John and Mamie Krabbenhoft Connelly. She grew up and attended country school in rural Sabin and graduated high school from Moorhead High.She attended Moorhead State Teachers College and graduated from Interstate Business College.She remained on the family farm in Sabin until her father died. She moved to Arizona for a brief time before settling in Manhattan Beach, California. She worked for the Xerox Corporation as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She returned to Minnesota and lived on Tamarac Lake until entering the Good Samaritan Center.Helen is survived by three nieces, Gail Suko, Erhard, MN, Gretchen Olsgard, Moorhead, MN, Marjorie Gerald Barth, Wanaska, MN; two nephews, Mike Anita Connelly, Baker, MN and Andrew Astrid Hadik, London, England; one sister in law, Ruth Connelly; and several grand nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Edna, and one brother Lawrence.
