Herbert “Herb” H. Teitgen, age 77, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday February 2, 2020 at his home.
Herbert “Herb” Teitgen was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1942. He attended the University of Wisconsin and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas in 1966. There he met and married Anne Robinson in 1968. He served as a minister in California, Louisiana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Winnipeg.
Herb enjoyed playing in church bands, orchestras and singing in the choir. He played the saxophone and liked doing Elvis impersonations. Herb cherished time spent with family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors, especially going to the cabin in Mercer, WI.
Herb was a faithful minister and loving father and grandfather who will be missed and fondly remembered.
Herb is survived by his children, Robert (Amber) Teitgen and Carla (Tom) Erickson; brothers, Fred Teitgen (Debra Byars) and John (Mary) Teitgen; seven grandchildren, James, Stephan, Joseph, Joshua, Eric, Joy, and Alex.
Herb was preceded in death by his wife, Anne.
Memorial Service: Friday, February 28, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Fargo Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Fargo, ND.
