Ida Leroyce Hagen

Ida LeRoyce Hagen, 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 20th, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND, surrounded by her family and friends.

LeRoyce was born on June 18, 1952, in Sisseton South Dakota to Thelma Mollerud and Leroy Lenz. She grew up and attended school in Glenwood, MN, graduating from Glenwood High School. She then attended Mankato State University in Mankato, MN, where she received her Nursing degree. She had a passion for care-giving and interacting with people, and nursing allowed her to live out this love.

On June 11, 1977, LeRoyce married the love of her life, Craig Hagen.

LeRoyce began her career at St. Ansgar’s Hospital in Moorhead, MN, and then worked at the Fargo Clinic and the Roger Maris Cancer Center. They lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin for a time where she worked at Green Bay Oncology, before returning to Roger Maris. In 1998, she began a career in Pharmaceutical sales.

LeRoyce had the biggest heart, always thinking about others first. She loved spending time with family, friends and most of all her two children and her special grandchildren. She enjoyed summers at the lake, loved pontoon rides, reading, and just relaxing in the stillness.

LeRoyce is survived by her husband of 36 years, Craig; son, Mike Holly Hagen; daughter Julie Taylor Wilson; grandchildren, Taylor and Lauren; sister, Mary Nell Scot Chapman; brother, Chris Mary Lenz; sister and brother in law, Jane and Lee Eklund; wonderful nieces and nephews; and amazing friends who have been like family to her over the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister Julie Anna.

Visitation will be Friday, November 22, 2013, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M., at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
The Funeral will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
