Ilene P. Olson

Ilene Olson, 59, rural Lake Park, MN, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2010, in MeritCare's Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.Ilene Cullen was born on October 18, 1950, in Detroit, MI, to Richard and Helene DuPart Cullen. She grew up and attended school in Shelby, MT, graduating from Shelby High School in 1968. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Ilene married Jerry Olson on June 8, 1973, in Lake Park Lutheran Church and they made their home near Lake Park. She worked for Moe Implement in Hitterdal, MN, for seventeen years and at the Flom-Ulen Co-op / West Central for twenty years. She loved spending time at the lake, and with her grandchildren. She was a lover of animals of all kinds. She enjoyed entertaining and spending time with friends.Ilene is survived by her husband, Jerry Olson, Lake Park, MN; two sons, Michael Shana Olson and David Olson, both of Lake Park; brother Michael E. Sherry Cullen, Shelby, MT; half brother Richard Diane Cullen, Nevada; two grandchildren Benjamen and Brenna Olson; two step-grandchildren K.J. and Josie Kubiak. She was preceded in death by her parents.
