Irene M. Anderson

Irene M. Anderson, 77, of Hawley, Minnesota, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Irene Ramstad was born February 2, 1928 at Moorhead, Minnesota to Hellick and Anna Akesson Ramstad. She grew up and attended school in Hawley. Irene married H. Clifford Anderson on December 1, 1945. Following their marriage they resided on area farms and later moved into Hawley. She picked potatoes at area farms, worked for Sorenson's Cafe, Johnson Department Store for many years, and the Hawley Locker Plant for many years. Irene enjoyed sewing, knitting, golfing she held several offices in the Ladies' Club including President, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.Irene is survived by her husband, H. Clifford Anderson, Hawley, MN; three sons, Bill Evaughn Anderson, Inver Grove Heights, MN, Ken Pauli Anderson, Inver Grove Heights, MN, and Dave Bobbi Anderson, Fort Collins, CO; one daughter, Linda Darrel Fiedler, Sartell, MN; one sister, Helen Anton, West Fargo, N.D.; seven grandchildren. Rachel & Erin Anderson, Cinda Fiedler Helmin, Jeff & Sara Anderson, Nicky Anderson & Cassi Nichols; and two great grandchildren, Kyler & Hailey Helmin.
