James Orville Brinkman

James Orville Brinkman, 64, of Moorhead, MN, formerly of Fosston, MN, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

James was born on June 6, 1959, to Glen and Clarice (Kjolhaug) Brinkman in Fosston, MN. He grew up in Fosston on the family farm and attended and graduated from Fosston High School. He remained in Fosston where he worked as a city and school bus driver.

James was an avid sports fan, loving all sports and the Twins being his all-time favorite. He was a member of a men’s softball team and was an exceptional player. He was also awarded the Fosston Service Award for being an outstanding Fosston citizen.

Jim will missed by his loving sisters, brother, and their spouses, Sue (Rick) Skadsem, Sharon (Garry) Kotts, Jo (Terry) Miller, Bob (Christy) Brinkman, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt and uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Clarice.

A private family service will be held.
