James D. Morrow

James D. Morrow, 88, Fargo, ND, died on Friday, December 11, 2015 in Eventide Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, ND.
Jim was born on July 10, 1927 in Arthur, ND. He entered the Navy on the day of his high school graduation. He became an optician and worked for Walman Optical Company until 1987. He enjoyed woodworking and made heirlooms for his family during retirement. He found himself working again part time as an optician until his second retirement in 2008.
He was a great man, loved dearly by his family. He will be missed forever.
Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda, Fargo, ND; children Cheryl Jerry McDonald, Aurora, CO, Cheri Ron Frisk, Davenport, ND, Mark Amy Morrow, Bloomington, MN, Duffy Morrow Jason Meier, Maple Grove, MN, Shauna Morrow Jeff Willging, MN; brother Jack Jackie Morrow, Bloomington, MN; grandchildren Ryan, Eric, Donna, Zack, Mara, Nathan, Maggie, Taylor, Hayden and soon to be born “Dags”.
He was preceded in death by his son Mike; brothers Chet, Bill, Bob, Wayne, Charles; and sister Elaine.
Memorial Service: Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
