Janice Lynne Mohler

Janice Mohler, 31, of Fargo, N.D., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in her home.
Janice Lynne Mohler was born October 28, 1987 in Fargo, N.D. to Lynden and Lynne (Swanson) Mohler. She grew up in Fargo, Moorhead, on the Swanson family farm in Kragnes Township north of Moorhead, as well as Eagan, MN, and Hannibal, MO. She attended school in Hannibal, Eagan, and Moorhead.
She was baptized in the Oak Mound Congregational Church in Kragnes Township, where she belonged to the Oak Mound Sunday School. While growing up, she was also active in River Keepers, Kringen Youth Klubb, and the Oak Mound 4-H Club.
Janice moved to San Marcos, TX in 2006, moving back to Fargo several years later.
As a skilled artist, Janice created many beautiful works of art for her family and friends, often times drawing her inspiration from her love of nature. She loved animals and enjoyed the many times spent riding her father’s horse, Chloe, as well as caring for the numerous pets she had throughout her life.
Janice will be forever missed and remembered by those who survive her, including her parents, Lynden & Lynne Mohler, Moorhead, MN; brothers, Zane (Brenda) Mohler, Lawton, OK; Tracy (Wendy) Mohler, Elgin, OK; Kylynn Mohler, Fargo, N.D.; Todd Mohler, Gastonia, N.C.; a sister, Lynnette (Joseph) Methner, AZ; her grandfather, Alvin Swanson, Moorhead, MN; uncles and aunts, Julie (Dale) Veselka, Tower City, N.D.; Carla (Craig) Hurner, Glyndon, MN; David (Cindy) Swanson, Kragnes Township, MN; Greg Swanson, Moorhead, MN; Norma (Glen) Rice, AZ; Lona (Bob) Maat, AZ; Marie Mohler, AZ; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Mohler; her grandparents, Elmer and Elma Mohler, and Diane Swanson; a special great-grandmother, Mildred “Nana” Gray; and several uncles and aunts.
A funeral service for Janice will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oak Mound Cemetery, Kragnes Township, MN.
Memorials are preferred to the Oak Mound Cemetery Association.
