Janice M. Andel

Janice M. Andel, of Moorhead, MN, passed away October 26, 2012, at age 67, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND, after a courageous battle with cancer. Janice was born to Melvin and Leona Lindholm Raw on July 22, 1945, on the Lindholm farm, rural Rothsay, MN. She grew up in rural Rothsay and graduated from Rothsay High School in 1963. Janice worked at American Crystal Sugar for over 35 years. Janice married Gilbert Andel on June 25, 1966, in South Immanuel Church in rural Rothsay. She had two children and three grandchildren. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Janice is survived by her husband, Gilbert, Moorhead, MN; daughter, Karla Lind, Fargo, ND; son, Jason Lorie Andel, Moorhead, MN; sister, Verna Gary Flatin, Rothsay, MN; brother, Edward Raw, Pelican Rapids, MN; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Aaron and Grant Lind. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Leona Raw. Janice was very much loved by all her family and will be missed. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
