Jeanette A. Hennen

Jeanette Arlene Hennen, Fargo, ND, died on Good Friday, April 14th, 2017, at Willow Lane, Bethany Retirement Living, where she received exceptionally loving care since 2013. The youngest of 15 children, Jeanette was born to Adam and Bertha Dittberner Thielges on February 6th, 1941. She grew up near St. Leo, MN, attended Catholic school in St. Leo, and graduated from Canby High School in 1959. Jeanette married Jerald Jerry C. Hennen in August of 1962. Throughout their marriage, they followed Jerry’s radio career in Pipestone, MN; Luverne, MN; Montevideo, MN; Clarinda, IA; Huron, SD; and Grand Forks, ND. Most recently, they lived in St. Cloud, MN, and Fargo, ND, where she proudly sold billboard advertising for Lamar and Newman Outdoor Advertising. She retired in 2009.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Scott Maria and children Alex, Hannah, and Haley; Jill Westerholm Paul and children Hannah and Adam; Nick and children Olivia and Whitney; and Chris. She is also survived by siblings Luverne Thielges of Canby, MN; Marie Stoks of Marshall, MN; Sister Janet Thielges OSB of St Cloud, MN; Al AnnThielges of Marshall, MN; Lucille Dave Welu of Cherry Creek, IL; sisters-in-law Kathleen Thielges of Canby, MN; Marcella Jim Welberg of Anoka, MN; Darlene Loren Larson of New Hope, MN; and Jackie Chmielewski of Plymouth, MN; brothers-in-law Rex Livermore of Sioux Falls, SD; Roger Carole Hennen of Bonaire, GA; Bobby Vicki Hennen of Maple Grove, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant children Jennifer and John; siblings Della Ray Forsblad; Rita Oscar VanDeWiele; Irene Thielges; Art Carol Thielges; Donald Marge Thielges; Matt Thielges; Phyllis Livermore; Alice Thielges; brothers-in-law Henry Stoks; Dennis Hennen; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Thielges, Doris Thielges and Rose Hennen.

Jeanette’s devout faith was always evident, and she was a very loving sister, wife, mom, grandma, and friend.

The funeral Mass will be at 11am, Tuesday April 18th, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 710 10th St. S., Fargo, ND. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Monday, April 17th, 2017, at the church, with a prayer service at 7pm. Burial will be at Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
