Jeanette E. Grinde

Jeanette E. Grinde, 74, Moorhead, MN, died on Friday, October 28, 2011, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.Jeanette Ellen Buhaug was born on July 4 1937, in Moorhead, MN, to Norman and Hazel Albin Buhaug. She grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating from Moorhead High School in 1955. Jeanette married Jon Grinde on August 11, 1956 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead. They farmed near Kragnes, MN. Jeanette had been active at North Buffalo Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school for many years and as a member of the Naomi circle. She was active in P.T.A. and served as an adult leader in 4-H. She worked in the daycare at Moorhead State University and then as a paraprofessional in the Moorhead Schools for many years. She had also worked at Eventide Lutheran Homes and Bethany Homes. Jeanette moved into Moorhead in 1993. She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she treasured time she spent with them. Just talking about them put a smile on her face.Jeanette is survived by her sons, Paul Patty Grinde, and John Grinde, both of Moorhead; daughters Debbie Dan Langseth, Glyndon, MN, and Jeni Brian Seyller, Minneapolis, MN; brother, James Linda Buhaug, Sandia Park, NM; sister, Joyce Arthur Schroder, Mekinock, ND, and their son Chris Heidi Schroder and their children, Noah and Sara, Duluth, MN; ten grandchildren, Josh Langseth, Jessica Dan Langseth-Kemper, and Jamie Langseth, Sarah Klemisch, Megan Klemisch, Rachel Cory Baumgart, Hallie Grinde, Greyson Grinde, Grant Seyller, Liliana Seyller.She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Gail Klemisch, and a brother, James.
