Jeanette M. Swartz

Jeanette M. Swartz, 67, West Fargo, ND, formerly Fargo, ND, died peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanette Marie Halvorson was born on September 14, 1946, in Moorhead, MN, to Adolph and Elizabeth Hiltwein Halvorson. She grew up and attended school in Moorhead, attending St. Joseph’s School. She made her home in Moorhead where she raised her four children. She had worked for Mini-Mart in Fargo for 20 years, retiring in 2008.
Jeanette married Joe Swartz on September 19, 1992, and they made their home in north Fargo.
She loved to sing karaoke and she loved her animals.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Joe Swartz, West Fargo, ND; sons Keith Pam Larson, Moorhead, Dean Brenda Larson, Harwood, ND, Jon Christina Gensler, Washington, IL; daughter Kimberly Kenton Alwin, Fargo, ND; step-sons Joe Swartz, Jr., West Fargo, ND and Travis Swartz, Fargo, ND; brother George Halvorson, Reno, NV; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; and her grandson Kelly.
Memorial Service: Friday, December 13, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead. Friends may gather for one hour prior to the service.
