Jeffrey D. Hopper

Jeffrey D. Hopper, 65, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Jeffrey Duane Hopper was born on July 22, 1953 in Fergus Falls, MN, to Donald and Anna Marie (Hexum) Hopper. He grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1971.  He went on to attend Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) in Moorhead, MN.

Jeffrey took a job with Coca-Cola in their service department for 30 years before going to work with Moorhead Public Schools and later Walmart.

Jeffrey was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing and building model cars.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren.  He was known by all as a kind and loving man who’d give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Matthew (Megan) Lee, Andrew Lee, Robert Hopper, Janet Hofstader, Dennis Hopper and Tara (Jesse) Woeller; grandchildren, Peyton Lee, Michael Hofstader, Gabriel, Warren and Titan Woeller; brothers, John (Sally) Hopper, Bruce (Jan) Hopper, Guy (Doreen) Hopper, Scott (Amy) Hopper; sister, Mary (Randy) Buckingham and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.
